The fastest central lane The Byway RS's smooth tread surface reduces rolling resistance and increases tread durability, resulting in a longer lifespan compared to other gravel tires. Stromm Aerotech We partnered with aerodynamics experts at Stromm to reduce drag by using vortex generators and trip strips placed at key points on the tire. This revolutionary technology—patent pending worldwide—works in multiple stages to draw airflow closer to the wheel assembly, minimizing the vacuum zone and allowing you to fully utilize the energy of each pedal stroke. Round profile The overall profile shape resembles a high-volume road tire, providing the same confident cornering performance across a variety of terrain and conditions. TCS Tubeless Ready TCS (Tubeless Compatible System) is a standardized tubeless system developed by WTB, encompassing rims and tires. TCS Tubeless Ready tires eliminate the need for inner tubes and allow for reduced weight and lower tire pressure, resulting in better traction and improved comfort compared to traditional tube-type tires. DUAL DNA COMPOUND Dual DNA offers the perfect blend of performance, grip, and durability. The center tread features a harder rubber compound for faster rolling and increased durability, while the sidewalls are made of a softer, slower-rebound rubber for improved control and traction. Configuration: LIGHT FAST ROLLING A harder, faster, and more efficient tread compound is used in the centerline of the tire. The sides and lateral knobs are coated with a softer compound designed to be compliant yet trail-worthy.
