La Sportiva Aequilibrium ST GTX are men's high-mountain, mountaineering and trekking boots for ambitious activities in the mountains, designed to balance low weight, durability, comfort and precision. The model features a modern, technical silhouette in the Carbon/Cypress colourway and an ergonomic last that comfortably wraps around the foot for a secure fit during long days in the terrain. The upper is made from highly durable HoneyComb Guard™ nylon, complemented by a TPU protective layer, heel and toe reinforcements, and an integrated synthetic tongue with a concealed lacing system. The waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort membrane helps maintain a dry climate inside the boot in changing conditions. The 3D Flex Evo™ Directional Joint provides stability and more natural ankle movement, while the Double Heel™ construction supports a smoother stride and more effective braking on descents, which can help reduce muscle fatigue. Internal PU inserts and the side Rubber Guard™ construction contribute to cushioning and lower weight. The Vibram® Mont sole with Impact Brake System™ provides grip and control on technical terrain. The model is compatible with selected semi-automatic and non-automatic crampons, making it suitable as a mountain boot, mountaineering boot, climbing boot for high-mountain terrain and an advanced trekking boot for demanding trails.
