POC Ventral Air Wide Fit MIPS Cycling Helmet, Black

Apraksts

Ventral Air WF MIPS – Wide Fit is now available for people with a slightly wider, rounder head. The Wide Fit model is wider at the sides and has a rounder internal shape. It is designed for those who found the standard model too tight at the sides and not a good fit. The Ventral Air WF MIPS is a cycling helmet designed for road cycling in the summer season. It guarantees excellent ventilation and a cooling sensation on the hottest days. Ideal for long training sessions in the mountains. Uniquely designed precision ventilation ports and internal channels expertly control airflow in and out, providing a cooling effect across the entire head—not only when riding faster, but also at lower speeds. The aerodynamic construction, optimised using CFD testing, minimises air resistance. Unique airflow zones and an aerodynamic 22° trailing edge reduce turbulence. For the new season, the helmet is equipped with the MIPS Integra system, which provides increased protection for the head and brain against forces generated during accidents. It dissipates the energy generated during a fall and prevents it from being transferred to the head. The helmet’s monolithic construction, based on an EPS core and a polycarbonate shell, provides the ideal balance between weight and safety, while guaranteeing the helmet’s durability and structural integrity. Practical features include a lightweight size adjustment system that ensures a personalised fit, as well as an eyewear storage compartment for easy and secure storage when the glasses are not in use. Our Wide Fit helmets are both shorter and wider, providing a rounder internal shape that is ideal for round head shapes. Sizes: S: 55–58 cm M: 59–61 cm
